Residency in Hill End
During May 2014 Leah will be artist in residence at Murray’s Cottage in Hill End. The cottage was the Hill End residence of prominent Australian artist Donald Friend (1947 – 1957) and Donald Murray (1947 – 1980s).

17th Annual Redlands Konica Minolta Art Prize
Leah has been nominated for the Redlands Art Prize. The curator of the prize selects established artists who in turn nominate an emerging artist to participate alongside them in the exhibition. Leah has been nominated by artist Raquel Ormella. This year’s curator is Julie Rrap and the judges are respected curator and former Director of the Art Gallery of NSW Edmund Capon, National Art School Curator Katie Dyer and Redlands Visual Arts teachers. The established artist category carries a $25,000 prize and the emerging category carries a $10,000 prize with works acquired by Redlands.
The exhibition opens on the Thursday 2 May at 6pm at National Art School Gallery, Darlinghurst, Sydney. The exhibition continues until 1 June.

Interplay
Interplay is the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia Staff Show for 2013. Featuring works across a wide range of mediums, the exhibition brings together the diverse talents of more than 40 emerging and established artists. The array of works on display creates a dynamic dialogue across a wide range of artistic practices, highlighting the interconnected nature of art and art making.
Opening night: Thursday 28th February 6 – 9pm

Exhibition runs 29th February until 10th March 2013
